Overview
SanoPace is a local-first iOS app. It does not require an account or store your data on a company-controlled server. Personal data stays on your device.
Data we store
SanoPace stores information locally on your device, such as:
- Onboarding answers and preferences
- Check-ins, completed actions, and coaching preferences
- Manual entries, including weight or body fat, if you choose to add them
- Fasting sessions, including optional notes
- Saved articles and reading history
- On-device coaching adaptation data
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, SanoPace reads only the categories you allow: workouts, sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, cardio fitness, weight, body fat, lean body mass, and energy burned when calorie guidance is enabled. SanoPace does not write to Apple Health. Health data remains on-device and is never uploaded.
To disconnect: Health app → Profile → Apps → SanoPace → Turn off categories.
Sharing and exporting
When you export or share from within the app, SanoPace generates content locally and hands it to the iOS share sheet. The recipient and any third-party service you share with will receive whatever you send.
Crash diagnostics
SanoPace uses Apple MetricKit for local crash and performance diagnostics. These diagnostics are not transmitted to a third-party service and contain no Health data or user-written content.
Availability and payment
Full access to SanoPace requires an active auto-renewing subscription after any eligible free trial. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. SanoPace does not receive or store your payment-card information.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. You can manage or cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Analytics and tracking
Simple usage counts are stored only on the device for local diagnostics. This version does not transmit analytics, include advertising SDKs, or track people across apps or websites. The SanoPace website does not use analytics or tracking scripts.
Past website launch updates
The website no longer accepts launch-list signups. If you joined before release, the email address you submitted was processed and stored by Netlify, the website hosting provider, on behalf of SanoPace. It was used only for SanoPace launch and early-access updates. It is not connected to app health data, sold, or used for behavioral advertising.
You can ask to have a previously submitted email address deleted by contacting support@sanopace.com.
Retention and deletion
Because SanoPace is local-first:
- Data is retained on your device until you delete it or delete the app.
- You can delete local data from Settings → Privacy, or by deleting the app.
Children's privacy
SanoPace is not intended for children under 13. People between 13 and 18 should use the app with a parent or guardian's awareness. Fasting features are intended only for adults aged 18 or older.
